i actually have a few


my second time seeing them i won vip tickets from a local radio station for the matt hoopes birthday tour so i got to hang out with them backstage before the show. the night they were playing KC was legitimately hoopes' birthday night. so they had birthday cake. someone said to come get cake to everyone hanging out and so i went up to the table and took the first piece and schneck looked at me and said "uh, usually the first piece is for the person whose birthday it is." i still feel embarrassment to this day when i think about it.

the other story is that i met and dated someone off a relient k message board and proposed to them at a relient k show like 4 or 5 years ago.

they were okay i guess. it was like 10 years ago or more so i dont remember specifics. i know thiessen talked to us a lot about the weather in the midwest being weird and then High of 75 came out on the next album so in a little way, i helped write that song

I hung out with Reliant K once bc I dated someone on the same label. I don’t remember anything other than they were nice. I got all the reliant k free swag and releases doe.

I had a friend who dated Matt Sharp (Weezer) and said he’s the biggest asshole she’s ever met but that could be bc they broke up or whatever.

Myspace is a horrible place filled with regretful pasts lol.

 

That said it was cool when Brotha Lynch would play ppl in Madden off Myspace Bulletins lol. Simpler times.

lol the one thing I will say I miss about myspace vs. facebook is personalized backgrounds and such. I was such a dweeb for that shit.
