Omg prescription acid reflux meds are bad for you after awhile??? my prescription is running out for Lansoprazole and metoclopramide I don't know what I'm going to do because my stomach still hurts. I don't have acid reflux but I have gastritis which I think is basically the same thing.

 

I have to do another endoscopy next month and I hope they don't find anything worse. Did either of you have one?

 

I have a friend who has gastritus and he throws up a lot and is never hungry. I feel so bad for y'all bc that shit is no joke.

 

Ugh I remember that. I no longer throw up since I'm on the medicine. Do meds not have any effect on him?

 

Not at all. He says that he's one of those weird ppl that a lot of medicines don't work for. He had surgery once and was prescribed hydrocodone and it didn't ease his pain whatsoever.
