There are a couple from MN that I want to try... I can't remember the names though. I'll remember when I go to the liquor store lol.

Surprisingly, I actually enjoyed Sam Adam's this year. Usually I hate it. But I only know that I enjoy the kind that's usually on tap

 

Oh and I think New Glaurus maybe had one? I kinda want to go to the border to check out what they have

 

I think the Sam Adams Oktoberfest is one of their better beers. Along with their winter lager.

It's amazing how hive-minded the beer advocate community is about certain styles of beers. It's like the craft beer scene and an insane love for hops killed consideration of a lot of different styles of beer.

 

Beer is also gross.

To be fair, I don't really love beer... there are only a few kinds I've enjoyed. Historically, it has been Oktoberfest/pumpkin stuff. I hate hops and super bitter/sour beers. I can only do Guinness if it's mixed with cider. I'm definitely more of a mixed drink/bourbon/wine person

Hard Cider is good most of the time

 

The 750ml ones from Angry Orchard are generally great. Iceman is fantastic.

 

I am shocked that a Smash Mouth thread hasn't popped up since @SlappinCups brought up it's nonexistence, but the Maroon 5 vs. Taylor Swift thread will suffice for now

 

I love hard cider. The main problem with them is some are way too sweet.

Ciderboys makes a really nice peach hard cider. Well, it's good on draft... the one time I had it in a bottle I didn't care for it so much. The Stella Cidre is fantastic. Really fantastic. Woodchuck makes some good ones too, especially their granny smith. It's so tart and not too sweet. The regular Angry Orchard isn't bad. It goes great in a bbq sauce.

there's a MI cider place called Farmhaus that makes a really good one called Brunch and then Vandermill has one called Blue & Gold that's really good if you can find them in your area
