None taken, but he actually wasn’t a bad guy and it’s unfortunate the way the media portrayed him. He never told people to sell their shit, he never took any of their money (trust me I WISH he did but my family is still poor as fuck), they all did that on their own fruition. If there’s one thing I can say about him is that he was very sincere and genuine, but he was also fucking crazy. He was very much like the dude in A Beautiful Mind, he was honestly too smart for his own good.

 

This is why Christianity pisses me off so much.

I have complicated feelings that I haven't worked through, but basically the religion itself is mostly bullshit. The foundation, maybe not so much.

What’s funny is that growing up I never payed attention in church or read my Bible or listened to the Christian rhetoric at school, I just “believed” it out of fear. Then once the world didn’t end I was like, “you know what, I’m gonna be a good Christian” and I started going to church and really reading the Bible and took like maybe a month before I was like, “lmao this is hilarious” and peaced out of religion for good. I remember being terrified when I told my mom that I was an atheist and that I thought the Bible was basically a fairytale but, to my surprise, she didn’t really care and just told me she loved me. just being honest with her made our relationship a lot better
