What happened?

 

I listened to the new Movielife and felt very disappointed. Nothing really stood out to me

 

That is so sad dude. We fostered pets til i was about 12 years old and it was such a fun environment to grow up in but then we'd get an older guy come through and he would pass and I would be destroyed by it.

 

Reddit is a shithole. Smart move.

It's so hard putting down an animal. I lost my dog almost a year ago and I think about her everyday. Knowing her mind was still so sharp but her legs could no longer support her... it was impossibly crushing.

We got there and I ran out of the door asap and was like "GRANDMOTHER!!!"

turns out she was dead and we were there to collect furniture

 

He had this issue, it’s fairly common in male cats, where there was something stuck in his bladder and he could not pee and it was very painful. They could have performed surgery but it was going to cost thousands of dollars and we just don’t have that kind of money. We still have his sister tho but he was the cool one tbh

We found out last month that one of our cats has a kidney disease and probably only a few months left

No joke, my very first memory ever is going to my great grandfather’s funeral. It was open casket but I was too short to peer in so my dad had to lift me up so I could see. I just remember thinking he was very tiny lol

It’s a shitty thing that comes with the territory but it’s so worth it imo. My cat is gettin up there and I’ve had him since I was a kid so when he goes I’m gonna lose it but he’s brought me and my family so much joy and laughter. It sucks but animals are just wonderful little balls of happiness
