Bachelor party sounds fun. I’ve never been to one

 

2 o'clock: time to put a shirt and pants on?

 

Planning it was stressful as hell

But it's going to be pretty chill. He's not really a wild person, we're just going to hit up a bunch of breweries

 

I've been to 1 bachelor party, it was pretty fun

 

I think it's entirely dependent upon the people who go with you. That said, I've been to every bachelor party I've ever been to and they've all been great.

 

I also opted out of going to a bachelor party once and instead went on my first date with Laura, no regrets

I didn't think I was going to this one wedding coming up in November. The couple was predominately friends with my latest ex for years before I met them, so when I broke up with her I figured I wasn't going cause I was just her +1. Not only did I get invited to the wedding, I got invited to the bachelor party in Savannah GA for 3 nights in October I was very surprised. Should be a great time.

 

I've also been to a bachelorette party which is where I'm at Laura's and she puts on The Bachelorette

 

I've heard rumors of these parties.

 

It's fun, you just laugh at dumb people and develop strong opinions and eat food

 

A little bit too wild for me.

I'll stick with my Antiques Road Show thanks

 

Sounds similar to the Below Deck parties I've started attending.

 

I always start out making fun of those shows and then by the second one i'm heavily involved and a half bottle of wine in, like "Jesus Jennifer, how the fuck could you!?"

I am obviously not a bachelor party kind of guy, the whole concept is inherently kinda sexist

 

Honestly, watching the Bachelor/Bachelorette with a group of drunk friends is a lot of fun

Yeah, my bachelor party will for sure be me and my friends getting drunk and playing board games. No strippers or any garbage like that. More of a celebration of my getting married than a farewell to my bachelor status.

 

Should rebrand it as a Groomsmen Shower or something

Care to elaborate? I see how they can be problematic, but I don't know if that's inherent. I think a bachelor party is what you make of it. It's a celebration of a friend getting married.
