I feel you, I don't know if fans are integral or disposable

 

The money the fans spend on gear is distributed to players and teams (especially for Cowboys fans specifically as they have a no revenue sharing clause). Packers fans can literally own a share of the team. There are lots of ways fans can contribute to their team, and also at the end of the day, it's 100% easier to say "we" than refer to the team by name every time you mention them. It feels more natural to say.

 

I'll always say "we" when referring to the Texans in casual conversation (and in some posts) because it's 100% easier in cadence

 

but you can just say "they" though

at this point i know i'm being pedantic but i support bands directly through merch, gofundmes etc and don't say "we" and it's just a pet peeve that i should shut up about and let people pursue their bliss

 

Yeah that's how I feel. I just want to get it done. I wish we were all free to try again because I feel like we could do it if we had more time. The reset being on Tuesday sucks

 

Nah, I get it, and I'm more just being a dick about(though I still think "they" suffices as well). I just don't like sports. Especially football :/

 

also as @Joe4th can attest wrestling crowds make it pretty much 100000% easier to fucking hate fan entitlement haha

 

99% of wrestling fans are the worst

 

"They" works well until you're in a conversation involving multiple teams, and then it becomes easy to mix things up. When talking to other fans it's easy to refer to yourselves with your allegiances, IMO

As far as bands go, your support isn't in a competitive nature which I feel changes it a bit haha, your influence on the band directly helps the band and makes the show better but it doesn't impact them "winning" anything if that makes sense

 

Eagle fans are awful. Philly wrestling fans are abysmal

 

I wanna get paid to do nothing and enjoy life.

Fuck this world we live in where we need to work for our wages. Unreal.

 

Philly sports radio doesn't help haha

 

All sports radio is bad (Dallas is abysmal) but the things I've heard about Philly sports radio make me wanna jump off a bridge

 

Yeah that all makes sense. I also have an inherent negative bias because I've never been a sports guy so i generally can't relate to the sensation
