Exactly. I could rant about the Rise Against record all day. The whole fucking thing is gross to me. "We are the wolves at the gate"... of what? Against what? Won't say anything direct, mention an actual event or executive order, nothing, because your major label deal. I understand that, but don't pick "we give a shit" as your marketing scheme and then not say fucking anything. Ugh. Not to mention their iPhone cases on their store are sourced from exploited offshore poverty labor.

 

You're the only person I've seen that didn't like it.

 

It's garbage. Passable music, but the message it sends is fucking really bad.

I've slowly been accumulating 80/90s indie rock knowledge. Dinosaur Jr, Pixiex, Archers of Loaf and Sunny Day Real Estates have been in rotation lately.

I feel this so hard. I'm taking Calculus 1 rn and I'm doing okay...but I can feel myself slipping. I usually take the textbook and turn it into notes and we were busy enough tn where I couldn't do that. By the time I could, I drank most of a leftover beer from tasting and was a lil buzzed and couldn't/didn't want to, lol

 

The three I've saved on Spotify are Jet Black, Want and Indictment. Not intentionally all from different albums but that's interesting.
