What do you do currently and what do you enjoy doing? Not necessarily for work, but what is it that makes you feel the most self expressed?

 

I'm inside sales for a company that sells business forms. I shouldn't be in sales at all because I don't have the personality for it (I'm introverted, don't do well under pressure, straight to the point etc), but it's extra miserable right now because we aren't meeting our goals

I guess I enjoy socializing in a small group or one on one, making plans, accomplishing goals?

 

Filled out most of an application until I got to the professional references and I'm drawing a blank

 

Do you have a coworker, teacher, adviser you can put down?

 

Not really. I don't talk to my co-workers much, don't have any of the others either

I used to put past supervisors, but I've had this job for 4 years and I'm not in contact with anyone at previous jobs. Don't want to put my current supervisor either because I don't want to make it known that I'm looking

I have one person I used to work for that's friends with my mom and I could probably put her if I get her info

I feel like I should have been having a mental breakdown for the past month, and given my recent decision to go cold turkey off of crazy pills I've practically begged for it, but I feel so damn good. Trynna ride that wave.

 

I feel really good except at work :(

 

I've been trying to write through my anxiety. Who knows if it's working. My blog's been getting a lot of love lately, though.

If it helps I have a master's and I'm in the same boat, and career is what defines you so fun existential crisis going on

 

lol so the company I really wanted to work for called on Friday and offered me a job I didn't interview for, said they would email an offer to me to look over, and I still don't have anything

And I have a job for like two more weeks

Two things:

1. Only just now listened to Swift's new single because I am too lazy to hunt down literally anything that isn't on Spotify. Wtf are people on about re: the chorus? The initial response made it sound like a trainwreck. It's just understated, but catchy as fuck and will be in my head on loop for eternity.
2. When the fuck did her stuff get put on Spotify? I checked no more than two weeks ago and it was still just songs from Hunger Games soundtracks, etc. Was she only exclusive to Apple Music through the 1989 album cycle or something?

Regardless, it's been allll Taylor Swift and Crime in Stereo this morning lol

 

What's your Masters in? I definitely should go back and get my bachelor's
