I don't know her directly, but I know some of her closest friends, and they just have such great things to say about her. I try not to pay too much attention to the negative press she gets, as a lot of it seems misogynistic in nature. People in my town can be vicious on social media and it aggravates me to no end to see the way she is treated. Even some of the posts here in the Taylor Swift thread bother me, so I don't read that thread too often. I'm fairly confident she'll succeed no matter which way she goes... I don't think she'd be making a very big sacrifice, if any, to tell her narrative through her music.

Also I like Beyonce, but Lemonade is like it's namesake beverage: sweet while you have it, but overindulgent towards the bottom, and you find you are still thirsty after

 

It makes it ultra frustrating to hear such inappropriate comments about someone whom I believe is a very genuine and caring person. I've listened to her music a good amount, it's not my thing... but what really isn't my thing are the unfair comments about her.

I love that metaphor as much as I disagree with the opinion. Nice work. Seeing the Lemonade songs live in the full Formation World Tour production really did establish that album for me. I loved the music, but the full stage production was what cemented it for me.
