my answer is a resounding YES

Here's the thing. A sandwhich has two separate pieces of bread with fillings in the middle. A hot dog has one oddly shaped piece of bread with meat wedged inside. Not a sandwhich.

 

Cinnamon Toast Crunch on vanilla ice cream is so good.

It's 100% a sandwich. There are many sandwiches with just one piece of bread.

speaking of depressing food....i watched the Henry's Kitchen where he makes Southwestern Eggrolls last night and that's the best one. I lost my shit when he said " The thing with crippling depression..."
