this is the follow up to TDAG i wanted.

 

I still love Daisy and am glad they experimented.

I'm like 30 minutes into this one and my god, it keeps getting better.

 

Jesse wasn't lying. it sounds like a marriage of Deja and Devil with A LOT of new twists and turns thrown in. A+

 

might be their best album...at the very least: it's right behind TDAG

 

It honestly sounds like Jesse said "Let's write a Modest Mouse album" in the best way

 

"let's listen to Nirvana, Modest Mouse and STP for a week and write an album."

 

The guitar at 27:10 just took me from six to midnight.

 

it's cool too because they so obviously wear their influences on their sleeves without seeming like they're straight aping those artists.
