this is not a call out, this is because i like conversation and haven't watched an ep in five years:
if your issue with parks is consistency, how does a show like the simpsons work in?

 

I'm holding back the comment I wanna make so much

 

I watched four episode of Below Deck: Mediterranean in a row the other day because I got distracted by the fact they were in Croatia. Which is a very on-Brand show/reason for me to get sucked into a useless drama reality show.

 

How have I never heard of this? I watched both the bachelor and bachelorette for a while?!

 

the only reality tv i watch is pro wrestling, all other tv is fake. a man was compacted in a garbage truck during a wrestling match on sunday - that was real.

 

I think mine would be Seinfeld, Frasier, Curb, The Office, and It's Always Sunny. Eastbound and Down would be 6th. Although Vice Principals is seriously making me question everything. Parks and Rec is definitely in my top ten.

 

I like 30 Rock but don't even close to love it

Scrubs is definitely in my top five

Anytime you wanna talk Below Deck, I'm your person haha. My gf put me onto that and we've watched every season since we've started dating and it's one of the few Bravo shows I can tolerate. That and Top Chef.

 

I will answer your question with this question: how many seasons did parks have? how many seasons do the simpsons have? that's why

that sounds way more dickish than I mean it btw but so have a lot of comments I've read today

not to be pedantic but i was arguing strictly network television, which is a way more constricted space to make great art/comedy.

It's on in the summer and has a bunch of losing contestants from each, always the most entertaining thing I watch each week

oh yeah, true you did say network comedy. He mentioned curb and I stopped with that connection. Just basic network comedy? Then I think parks & rec fits into my top 5.

idk what you mean by that though. if you mean that, like, seasons 4-8 of the simpsons are good enough to negate the later seasons, than i get that. but i think the idea that we can't measure a show against another because it doesn't have 1,000 episodes kills the topic altogether.
