Because I work in local govt a lot of people ask me if my job is a lot like the show and I say that it is and it's turned Parks and Rec from a comedy into a documentary. then they ask if I'm like Leslie Knope.


I'm definitely an Ethel Beavers, like come on.

 

parks and rec is probably the best network comedy of all time

 

My work is a lot like The Office in that I work with a bunch of fuckin' idiots. Not as funny though.

i mean it's not like there are a lot of network comedies that are truly "great"

 

I don't work with idiots, but my boss tries to be funny and sometimes he comes off like Michael Scott.

 

The Big Bang Theory is not only the best sitcom of all time, it’s one of the best television shows. Period. Possibly one of the best pieces of entertainment.

I like the show a lot but it's still probably not in my top five because the quality just wasn't consistent throughout

 

this is the hot take. after the first episode of season 2, gun to my head i wouldn't be able to pick any lull at all

 

I wish it would’ve continued so badly but at the same time I’m glad it could stay as short and wonderful as it was haha

Original run of Arrested Development is classic. First three seasons of The Office are gold. I’ve never really seen Parks & Rec save for a few episodes here and there (which I’ve enjoyed) but I’ve heard that it was very consistent considering it’s longevity.

 

In last week’s episode of Superstore a customer took a bite out of a candle and I finally felt represented in television

 

Nailed it. Some of the writing was off too, especially the way they'd treat Andy and April.

I don't think there was ever a real lull in Parks, but I was annoyed by April's character a lot in the last few seasons
