yeah, the title track being far and away the best thing here is kind of weird with it being the first song. kind of wish it was the albums centerpiece. either way, this album is cool. i dont think its incredible or anything on initial impressions, but its still growing. it kind of feels like Ill feel the same about it as i did Elder Brothers album. Pleasantly surprised, some songs dont feel completely fleshed out but a couple bangers for sure.
Glad to see people taking to this. I interviewed the singer and other guitarist a few years ago. Really nice dudes.
This record is awesome. I've been jamming it a lot. Reminds me a lot of the '90s and early 2000's. Interesting that this record was done where most of the Transit records were done.
was supposed to see them open for Moose Blood last night but the show got cancelled, super bummed I wanted to catch them when they were still a small band before they blew up. This album is insanely good, guess I have to wait til the rescheduled date in July to catch them
I saw these guys live and really did not like them. I listened to their music and really didn't like them. I'm gonna give this a shot but I don't have high hopes.
This album has had so little staying power for me. Sucks, because the title track is one of the best of the year Let it happen, on the other hand, they're the summer time band for me. Love em
I just spun let it happen and it saddens me that they're not a bigger band. Cause + Effect rips hard front to back.
More time on this record makes me think its way too long, and a lot of the great moments get pushed over.
3 songs in and... it's fine. This band has always peaked my interest, but there's just *something* that keeps me from coming back after a few listens.
Been waiting forever on new music from them, but this was pretty mediocre apart from the last song. That one I really liked.
Long Exposure is so good! The rest of it really has grown on me now that I've listened to it about 10 times through. I dig the guitar work on TOIFMG, which kind of reminds me a little of Transit
