A Star is Born is probably the most recent example of a movie that sounded terrible but turned out to be entertaining.

 

never really liked Cooper before it but he kinda fully delivered.

i can't imagine the Bernstein movie will have the same entertainment but we'll see.

 

Still think it's wild he didn't get a Director nomination.

I can’t imagine watching anything that much, granted I thought it was good but not amazing

 

yeah idk if there's a single movie I've ever seen 100+ times. this is probably the one I've seen most from recent years and it's like 5 times.
