“Ian noticed your reaction” Sorry I’ve played a lot of Telltale Walking Dead lol. Game of Thrones Telltale is good too!
I think he’s also overly nice and wouldn’t want to overshadow the show. HBO might have even have asked him not to do so if he finished recently.
It’s all just wishful thinking at this point obviously, like in reality he’s probably never going to finish them. You never know though.
I wanna wishfully believe that after the last episode leaves us sitting here in disbelief and sadness, and the HBO sound goes off and all that, the next thing we see is a special announcement from GRRM announcing a publishing date this summer for Winds lol
I disagree that publishing it right after the finale would be petty. It would refill the Thrones hype coffers and probably maintain hype into the spinoff.
I do think Rhaenyra had the right claim to the throne since Viserys I named her his heir....but The Great Council's decision + her having bastards instead of trueborn kids weakens that IMO...but anyway my main point is I will never forgive her for letting just any old shithead become dragonriders because it ends up getting Vermithor killed. This post has been brought to you by me listening to the Fire & Blood audiobook the last couple weeks lol
I just started reading through A World of Ice and Fire. Still love diving back in to this world. Probably need to pick up Fire & Blood soon.
Well I truly hope that means he's making progress but I'm refusing to read anything into that until we get an official announcement.
I missed that he was hoping to be done by July of 2020 when he is appearing at WorldCon so there is hope! (It’s the last paragraph of this blog) Thanks, New Zealand | Not a Blog
Why THE WINDS OF WINTER Could Be Coming Soon - Nerdist I am here for this completely rampant and mostly baseless speculation. But it did tie that timeline of activity back in November into a series of events that made sense. Hopefully his 'work' he talked about during quarantine the last few months was edits/re-writes of a completed book. But, words are wind, so.
If a global pandemic forcing him into isolation cant finish the book then im gonna finish it my damn self. Spoiler: Sansa gets everything.
