I had a great time with the first season

    I do not exist.

It's nice when things are contained - you know when it finishes and that it's not going to be dragged out forever. Some programmes go on and on and the quality diminishes.

I know they're increasing the episode count from 8 to 10 with Season 2, but the books are only getting longer as they go and they're doing 5-9 in the next one (5 books!). Hopefully for the final season they get enough episodes to do those (lengthy) books justice.

That's great. Me, and my wife loved the first series. Fillion will fit in perfectly here.

Just started watching this show for the first time. I've found the first episode to be pretty boring- does it get any better?

Only finished the first episode of the second season so far but it improves pretty much every episode.

Thanks, good to hear! I do think that Patrick Warburton is fantastic in it so far, it's a very cool, unique way of narrating a TV show.

It depends on what you don’t like. If you’re not a huge fan of the plot, but like the style/tone, I’d suggest you keep going at least through episode 3 or 4. I think the first two episodes are the worst ones, but they lay the foundation for the rest of the series. If you don’t like tone/style, it might not be for you because that never changes much.

  21. Finished s2 last night and thought it was fantastic. Books 5-9 were probably my favorites growing up and I loved how they handled some of the series best moments, like the Red Herring, all of the literary devices in Vile Village, and “in the belly of the beast”

  22. Yeah this was great, again. This show looks so damn good

I'm excited to see the Ersatz Elevator episodes.

It's been so long that it's one of the only books that still stands out in my mind. That, and The Wide Window. Admittedly, I never read all of them as a kid.

I'll admit, episode 2 was loads better than episode 1. I'm definitely excited to see more.

I kinda wanna watch the Jim Carrey movie again to see how different it is. Dan Handler contributed to both, so idk how different they'd be? I haven't seen it since it was in theaters.

This is probably old news, but this is disappointing:
