Krasinski gonna win an Oscar just for continuing to come up with ways to write himself into every sequel of a movie he killed his own character off in.

 

So... just an extended version of the flashback sequence we saw in this one?

 

But his character is a great man and we know this because of all of the times everyone says it in Part Two.

 

Just think. Now we get to see how he became that great man. We get to see his great man origin story.

 

In normal times you would just make one movie and move on. There isn't anything more to the universe than that. You created a monster, you created tension, and you created a resolution.

 

Okay but like I'm genuinely excited for anything they put out from this universe. If Emily Blunt and Millicent Simmonds are in it, I don't mind seeing three iterations of the same thing

 

i mostly agree, even if the premise seems a little tiresome by now, they've got my $$.

 

I think this for the spin-off from the "Pig" director, so it's likely going to be somewhere else or maybe it's the kids gearing up for big baseball game that day and the movie just focuses on the fundamentals of America's pasttime. That said, I'll still see it.

 

Don’t know how I feel about this.

 

There was some really cool stuff but can’t believe it ended so fast without much change from the first one? I thought for sure there was another 30-40 minutes. Murphy’s character said how “people changed”, but we only saw one weird hillbilly group. Then a very nice tranquil island community that was slaughtered in minutes.

 

Wasn’t that half the premise of the second one?

 

Wang Fang Meat Market sounds like a Frank Zappa song title.

Everything profitable must be a trilogy at least, this is a law chiseled into the stone of the Ten Commandments of milking a franchise into the ground.
