Meh. It's ok.

 

This has only grown on me more. I already think it lives up to the quality of the two original LPs and really can't wait for more.

Also, I'd argue Maynard sounded very similar vocally in "Vicarious" to the verses on here, so I'm not sure it's an age thing (at least, not anything new).

 

I came, I saw, I liked the song.

 

“The Doomed” finally clicked with me. I fucking love it. Took a few listens, but blasting it through a good set of speakers really sealed it for me.

This was definitely a grower for me too. That last :30 or so fucking shreds. Saw them play it live last weekend and it was incredibly powerful. Really intrigued to see them go in a political direction that isn't political covers.

It's alright, but I don't like it nearly as much as The Doomed on first listen.

Interesting but not really APC. Saw some speculation that it's just a B-side for this upcoming 10". Kinda hoping that's true and this isn't on the LP or representative of it.

 

I dig it, but yeah not as much as The Doomed. Really interesting release, not really like anything I've heard from APC or Maynard at all

 

I highly doubt it will be on the album. Unusual to release to album singles on one 10”. But who knows.

 

I actually like Disillusioned quite a bit. Neither track really feels like old APC to me, but I'm excited for an album like this.

this is really cool and while different still definitely APC

it's awesome when really really talented musicians try different things even if they're one-offs

you guys are tripping - if we get a new APC record this year it will kill

I've said it before, I like Tool but APC is my favorite of the two and I am super pumped for this
