Saw them in April, and they were a fine-oiled machine. This album will be excellent.

I was skeptical they'd use that as an album title, so this makes sense.

Also, I seem to remember a recent Billy or Maynard interview where they alluded to putting out songs one at a time, so I'll try to keep my hopes for an LP down for now.

Whether it's a single or album they're definitely worthy of their own thread at a minimum!

I'm liking that new song, tbh it’s just nice to hear Maynard on something again as it’s been a few years since Money Shot.

Also that new song auto-played onto the Judith Video and that sure did bring back a lot of memories of watching MTV2 back in the day.

Hmmm..... for the first time maybe ever, I think his age is starting to get to his voice. He sounds... off, here. I like the song overall, but he's starting to sound old :verysad::verysad:

Yeah he does a little, I guess that's to be expected he is over 50 now. I'm on my 3rd listen now and the songs growing on me everytime.

I can't tell on the verses whether it's that or an intentional thing he's going for. I do think the softer vocals sound slightly overproduced, probably to compensate. It is a bummer when you consider the past 10-15 years have kinda been squandered for both bands. :tear:

Cool song. Maynard def sounds more subdued here.

I'm like Oprah with the likes right now, because I'm so excited to have a new APC/Maynard song!

I definitely agree with the vocal opinions here, but I definitely love the song!

Yeah I like the track. I guess I should have expected Maynard to sound different.

Downloading new APC on a fall night with the windows open had my brain all 2003... almost burned it on a CD to go for a walk with one of these:

Really though, this is pretty fantastic, questionable vocal snippets aside. Musically, it sounds straight from the TTS era with a bit of new flair. I always thought TTS had this cool, unique horror/nightmare vibe to it that this fits right into... and I can't remember anything in the 14 years between that's really sounded similar.
