Ok, car crash was pretty lame, lol. Apparently she didn't know what a brake pedal is used for

Chemistry between Bill and Darby though is beautiful to watch

Last five minutes, with the helmet scene, and the reveal at the end, was wild

I’ve been thinking the kid’s name was “Zuma” this whole time which is a stupid enough name but I turned on subtitles and discovered his name is “Zoomer” and it is absolutely sending me.

lol I thought the subtitles were just referring to him as a zoomer

  11. This did ultimately feel like a very long Black Mirror episode. The ending was quite dark, but it had none of the spectacularly strange vibe of The OA.

It might have made a decent movie, didn’t need 7 episodes

  15. Yeah, there’s a probably a better two hour version of this with fewer flashbacks and fewer people at the retreat.

  16. I thought this was great. I was sold on the murder mystery with tech-thriller vibes already but ended up really liking the Bill and Darby characters. One of the better shows of 2023 imo. Looking forward to whatever Marling and Batmanglij collab on next, assuming they do.

I enjoyed the story and its narrative, the buildup of the flashbacks was great. It was like Agatha Christie meets Gen Z. Better than any of the Kenneth Branagh movies. But I agree that it could have done with fewer characters.
