Been listening through Conversation Piece and No Place lately. Incredible records that I don’t think get the praise they deserve.

 

no place is one of the best albums in this entire genre

 

I would stand by the statement that No Place is the best swan-core related album any of those bands produced. Just incredible and the theme/story just adds a surprisingly emotional layer

Michael Franzino's new group Moxy The Band put out their debut album today! It's very different from A Lot Like Birds, but it's phenomenal female-led synthpop/indie rock. If you're a fan of great music in general I highly recommend checking it out!

Oh yeah that was my next question. Soooo really it’s not a ALLB reunion lol. Weird I wonder if he has commitments or there’s still bad blood. I figured the drama was between Kurt and Michael

 

Dependent on where he lives, they probably couldn’t cover the cost of flying him out and it would’ve cost him money instead, not worth it if I was in his position. Also waste a few days PTO or w/e

 

That is not what I expected. Bummer Cory won't be there.

 

I figured they all still live in Sac. I know I saw Michael at the Ace of spades show of Circa/Foxing in ‘18.
