Between this and new episodes of The Pitt, that Black Friday deal to get a year of HBO Max for $3/mo is already paying dividends

The planned humor is a little funny but dying at how they had to add in the name change lmao

 

Excited for this but gotta catchup on Industry so I can watch them back to back next week

lol this was great.

Been a while since I read it but I think they’re adding stuff that isn’t in the story to give it some more runtime, based both on tonight’s episode and the previews for the rest of the season

 

loved the main GOT theme song transitioning into him spraying shit everywhere

 

Haven’t read the Dunk and Egg books or much about them so the story is basically new to me

Big fan of the show’s tone and the how effectively the sudden cuts to flashbacks are used. Looking forward to more of the himbo and his squire over the next five weeks

Compared to the start of GOT or even HOTD that was pretty uneventful. But honestly a show with lower stakes might be a nice change of pace

 

Pretty good premier. It ended exactly where I thought it would.

Pretty much a perfect adaptation of the beginning of The Hedge Knight

 

really was. And the added scenes that didn’t happen in the book were fun

 

Yeah probably better to set the audience expectation from the start that it’s not going to be as intense
