Yeah the tone and scale of this look perfect. This also looks much lower budget compared to HOTD and GOT, which is a good thing in this case.
Like I know at the end of episode one we are going to get the reveal that Egg is a Targ prince, but will this show tell us right away that Egg is a future king and Dunk is his future lord commander of the Kingsguard ? A brief flashfoward or something would be sick.
Just saw the trailer on my tv and made me realize I hadn’t actually seen it on a big screen yet. Looks even more awesome and can’t wait for it. also made me realize that while I remember the main beats of the story, I forget pretty much all of the small details. Gonna have to force myself not to re-read now so I can be surprised

Man this looks so fucking good. Again I forget a lot of the small details so I could be wrong, but definitely feels like they changed the dynamic of Dunk and Egg's relationship a tiny bit. But I think it's mostly a result of Dunk being way less Forrest Gump-y then I remembered/imagined he'd be, which yeah probably for the best there as the star of the show lol

So excited for this. Every clip they've posted has me more and more excited. This kid is gonna be excellent as Egg and it's gonna suck when he ages out of the role in 3 years (IF we have George's two new stories by then, which........lol)
