Yeah I’m gonna be buying this dvd/blu-ray just to see if I get an extra 30 seconds of Trial of 7 action that isn’t just Dunk’s POV hah

 

Yeah I heard that Raymun and Lyonel don’t appear in book 2. However given their popularity and expansion in the show I’m wondering if they fit one of them in.

 

Oh wow, Peter Mullan seems like he could be a great fit for that role. I mostly only know him from Westworld but I know he's been in a bunch of other stuff. I think he's a little shorter than I pictured for Ser Eustace but still.

I always pictured Ser Bennis as a dirty gross white dude lol. But afaik they never told you his skin color so only the worst of the worst will whine about it being "woke" or whatever.

 

I read the graphic novels, so I’ve got all of those images in my memory for all of these characters. Luckily my memory is shit.

 

Lucy boynton has been fun in the few shows I’ve seen her in

also I saw a tweet earlier that I lost that was an interview with the actress that played Gwin Ashford said she had two deleted scenes, one where she rode intot the tourny grounds on a horse with a knight, and another where after she told dunk she didn’t blame him for ruining her birthday, she apparently comes back to him and says something about insinuating marrying him in the future or whatever, like she had a crush on him or something lol

 

I really enjoyed this but couldn't shake the feeling storywise it made more sense as a feature film than being chunked out into 6 parts

 

Most aura from a big guy little guy duo since Arnold and Danny Devito lol.

also, I’m rewatching GoT and Dunk gets a name drop in S1 episode 2. Apparently one of Bran’s favorite childhood stories

 

After going cold on GOT from S8, and not really enjoying House of the Dragon (didn't watch season 2 - TBD if i ever will), I loved this.

I think I was a little mislead as all the reviews talked about it being short, and funny and light and a change of tone, and while that's partially true in the early episodes, it's still extremely GOT as in 'it's a grim brutal world and no women are ever safe'.

The casting and dialogue are the 2 stand outs that make the show work. Everybody nailed it, especially the young Dunk.

Also Lyonel Baratheon is my favorite drunk of the series since Tyrion.

 

Yeah I loved Lyonel. The scene where he roasts his maester killed me.
