I welcome the new website! I think we were due for a change and chorus.fm sounds great. I have been around for years on Absolutepunk and posted from time to time (My old username was 1993mic). I will have to get used to going here to discuss the news instead of doing it directly in the article, but it's gonna be okay. Will album reviews discussions be posted here as well? I think being able to comment on album reviews is important.

Jason, I want to become a monthly supporter BUT I am also vein. Wondering what will happen to my prestigious banner after I become a supporter?

 

I only saw this yesterday and thought it was an elaborate April Fool's joke...... RIP AP.net.

 

RIP AbsolutePunk. Visited the site for music news for years now. Also thought it was an April Fools joke at first. Sad to see it go but hope chorus will provide a similar if not better service.

 

The supporter banner shows on posts, both banners will show on profile and mini profile.

What do you mean? Warning about the site moving? I literally did the only thing I could legally do. I've tried for months to drop hints in different places and asked people to reach out to me privately for invites to this site, but there wasn't anything I could say publicly about exactly what was happening.

Really like the new site. A little bummed I missed out on the former prestigious members thing. Silly, but 10+ year account gone in the blink of an eye.

I think they meant should be, not that there is, it's easily the most requested feature, and there's a good chance it happens.

 

I freaked out for a little bit. But this looks way more appealing.

 

it's fun watching other formerly prestigious members get the status here when i missed out in the other thread.
