Writing Utensils is tremendous

 

this new version absolutely rips

 

On first listen, this has a lot more sweeping and huge moments than I expected. I can't wait to spend more time with these songs. So good.

 

Acknowledging recency bias is a thing, I can't think of another record that came out this year that immediately grabbed me like this one has. The Origami Angel album comes the closest but man this record is special.

 

Waiting For Your Love is one of my favorites, such a wonderful song
