This article has been imported from chorus.fm for discussion. All of the forum rules still apply. You know, I don’t really have anything new to say on the ten year anniversary of this website. Each year it arrives, it passes, and I think a little bit about how far we’ve come. I think about the internet and how it’s changing, not always for the better, but how our little place seems to be doing just fine. All-in-all it’s what I want it to be. And for that I’m happy. Thank you to everyone that visits everyday and supports us to keep us online. more Not all embedded content is displayed here. Found just the right song for the occasion! Thanks to the great community and Jason for keeping this site going.
The internet may be changing. But my love for Chorus.fm never does. Appreciative of you this and every year
Saw my 10 year trophy pop up and it made me smile. Still remember moving over from AP! Here’s to many more!
I can’t believe it’s already be 10 years. That flew by. Is there a way to see when I signed up? I’m pretty sure I’ll be receiving a badge soon.
I'm an an absolute lingering ghost, and have been since AP days. But this site has been more than worth the decade.
I don’t even go to other music sites anymore, this is the only one I read daily. Thanks for still being around!
Happily keeping my supporter membership on auto renew and finally ordered two shirts from the store. Please keep this site going!
If you click your name to view your profile you'll see a date for "Member Since", looks like your badge will be here in 10 days
Don't know how to feel about the realization that means I've been here for 2 more years than I was a part of ap.net. Really doesn't feel that long to me!
I visited absolutepunk regularly for a decade before I ever even thought about making an account. For whatever reason, I didn't consider actually participating in the forums until I was a grad assistant sitting behind a computer all day. So, I finally signed up for an AP account in the Spring of 2016, but never got a confirmation email or whatever it was. I was never able to log in. Then, a week or so later, Jason posted the message announcing Chorus.fm. I signed up immediately, and this is still the only forum I have ever posted in. I still lurk more than anything, but this is my favorite corner of the internet and it is truly wild to me how many names, personalities, writing styles, etc I feel very familiar with even though I have met approximately zero people here in person. I'm glad this place exists. I expect I will write all of this out again in 2036.
