Naivety is up on streaming services today

 

I've been listening to Naivety a lot these last few days. Definitely my favorite of the songs so far released for this album.

I've been on a huge ADTR kick lately. I revisited And Their Name Was Treason for the first time in a long, long time and was surprised at how well the songs held up. So much nostalgia for me with these songs!

 

Listened to the track previews for the album. Sounds like it's going to be their best. Diverse, heavy, catchy, poppy, all good adjectives here.

 

Review will be posted early next week - really enjoying this one

 

I think I'm going to avoid these until the album drops and based on your description I think it's enough info to tide me over

I realllllly want to wait until Friday to listen to the whole thing but the leak is insanely tempting.

 

Never got into this band before, but I've been enjoying the singles. Excited to check out the full thing.

 

the breakdowns in "Exposed" and "Bullfight"... wow.

i'm halfway through the album right now. it's pretty cool.

 

For those who have listened.. Where does it rank in your opinion??

 

i'm not even sure if i know how to rank adtr albums.

 

yeah, I mean... it sounds like ADTR.

 

I think it's their most dynamic album yet. The mixture of heavy/light is fluent more within each song, as opposed to separate songs on the album, for the most part. It instantly is up there with Common Courtesy as my favorite, and may overtake it after a few more listens.

 

Naivety is straight up Descendent. I likey.

 

So is Bad vibrations the heaviest song?

 

Well, I liked it and this is coming from someone who wasn't really convinced by the singles.

this is easily their best album

 

I'm super happy people like it so much, but with their discography I don't know if I would say "easily" their best. Each record has been awesome.
