The song sucks. The collab works in theory but it badly dilutes ADTR’s talents as these collabs usually do Not even sure why they’re bothering with the instruments in the video But yes obviously it’s a great move career wise so yay
It's......fine. Going in I was wondering "huh curious why this features ADTR specifically and not just Jeremy" as most of these EDM songs usually do, and hey they actually mix it up a bit with that lead into the chorus and such. Jeremy sounds good on it because it's Jeremy, but then the song in general still basically follows the same general EDM song formula/structure so that's unfortunate. I'm not even against EDM music at all, I still listen to some, but have heard enough to have heard most of this song done in plenty of other EDM songs. Cool for them though, I know Marshmello is pretty big and it's not nearly the disaster it could have been. Just kind of uninspired at times.
Music video already has over 2 million views. Marshmello has 35 million subscribers on his YouTube channel while ADTR has around 766 thousand. Looks like this will be a major break for them.
I actually really like this. The video was a lot of fun too. As someone else said, it does seem a lot more like ADTR featuring Marshmallow than the other way around.
Been listening to WSMFY a lot lately. I used to think it was their weakest album but it's grown on me to the point where I think it's their second best, right behind Homesick
They’re one of the headliners for Reading and Leeds. It’d make sense if they got a single out before then.
Been on a super ADTR kick lately. Feel like I underrated Bad Vibrations a bit when it came out, I think I like it more than Common Courtesy as a whole
Bad Vibrations was by far my least favourite of their work. Just sounded like a tired effort which missed the earworm choruses which made them so great in the first place.
Damn. I listened to that live video like ten minutes ago and it’s stuck in my head. I love their poppier stuff. I hope they keep at it lol I think Good Things is one of their best tbh
