Hopefully the band has completely forgotten the last album, and this is a return to form

 

Common Courtesy was over 10 years ago. Would love for them to find that gear again.

 

Agreed. Common Courtesy, along with Homesick, is the peak of the band's musical sound.

 

Saw on instagram that Bobby Lynge, the guitarist of Fit For A King, was in the studio with them, and was their touring bassist.

This band has fallen off a cliff for me since Common Courtesy. These songs are so awful and I can’t believe part of their fanbase actually likes this garbage.

 

I’m pretty sure the majority of their fan base thinks the same as us, surely?

 

Yet somehow they still headline big tours, get high placements in festivals and draw decently well? I don’t get it.

 

Festivals/tours are rarely a "what have you done for me lately?" deal. I'm guessing they are enough of a legacy act from previous albums that most people don't care, as long as they mostly play the "hits".
