Seems like this could get a bunch of radio play. I haven't really paid any attention to them save for one-off listens in many years, especially in light of all the Woodard stuff. Did they get substantially bigger? They're playing my state in a few weeks, headlining the venue that they opened for Blink-182 at in 2016. They just played a 1500 cap theater here right before the pandemic and it sold out, but this place can be configured for 15,000. It's selling very poorly, I was just curious what made them think they could play full blown amphitheaters.
Yeah the venues are way too big on this tour. They could have easily sold out 2-5K venues, but instead are going to play half empty arenas/amphitheaters.
Well that's better then I was expecting. Guess it helps You're Welcome set the bar so low but still, new songs alright lol
Never ask a man their wage, a woman their age, or ADTR what the deal was with the allegations around Josh Woodard's sexual assault, or the crash he was involved in which left another man dead.
Can genuinely say I can't stand his singing in that song Regardless, not getting more than one morbidly curious listen from me no matter the quality at this point anyways
Yeah I dunno what happened, but his singing and melodies have always been a big draw for me, at least for everything before You’re Welcome. This is so… sterile sounding. It’s not as bad as You’re Welcome, but I also have no desire to listen again.
Josh left because of the allegations but he should have been kicked out for that years ago and he REALLY should have been kicked out for the manslaughter. The fact that he was allowed to stay in the band after both incidents happened is ridiculous, and makes supporting them not an option for me. They were very complicit in him remaining in the band and they do not get my support now that he is out of the band.
Imagine telling that to the survivors of Josh’s actions. Some of you truly have no concept of accountability.
These guys were big in my college years but they’ve ultimately dropped off in recent years. For those that have heart is a classic though.
