It got outsold in the uk by killswitch engage. Yet here in the states adtr out sold kse. Kse debuted at 188 compared to 155 for adtr
Listened to this for the first time and I really enjoyed. To The Death stood out, I enjoyed Feedback a lot more when listening in the context of the whole album rather than a standalone single (quite an odd choice for a single really) and All My Friends sounds fantastic for one of their poppier songs. The only one I was a bit mehhh on was Silence
All My Friends, To The Death, and Flowers are pretty good; rest are pretty meh. But yeah, step up from their previous release.
Let’s get @333 GANG ’s opinion too!!! new trend let’s go and post in the thread of every artist we don’t like just because we can lol
Guys are what 40 and writing choruses like that? Real bad. Album isn't as bad as I expected, but it's rather lifeless and forgettable.
This album sucks shit and this band are really bad people for harboring an abuser and a murderer. Since you asked.
When I said I liked the songs I did, it was strictly from a musical sense (music in 90% how it sounds, 10% lyrics for me). Have no idea/don’t remember what the lyrics are in the songs.
For a band known for pretty mediocre song writing, the last two albums have been laughably bad. Like who in their mid thirties/early forties can actually listen to this shit with a straight face?
I love those albums, but they have cheese written all over them. However they are like Shakespeare compared to anything they’ve written in the last 8 years lol
I went into this album wanting to hate it but I think it's fine. It's got some fun jams. The lyrics are fucking awful but I think that's just par for the course for ADTR. Enjoyed this a lot more than Bad Vibrations and You're Welcome.
I actually really enjoy this way more than anything since CC. Having said that, “all my friends” is just an audio version of this…
It is much catchier than the last two records by a fair margin. For as much as I enjoy lyricism, I never really listen to these guys for that and I don’t think it’s that far off from the majority of their work. it feels like a semi memorable 90s action movie. And I swear that is a compliment.
