Basically has to be, unless they push to early 2018 which would suck and not make a whole lot of sense.
Bring Me The Horizon has replaced them as my favorite "heavy" band. I didn't care for their last two albums and they just don't tour enough. Besides the blink tour last summer, I have had to travel to Milwaukee, Peoria, and Columbus to see them. They haven't played a show in the city of Chicago since September 2014.
I think ADTR has only played in the city of Chicago twice since 2013. Parks & Devastation in September 2014 at UIC Pavilion and Right Back At It Again in April 2013 at Congress Theater.
They haven't had a headliner in Montreal since 2011...I feel your pain. They have been here on festivals and with Blink but it's just not the same. Their headline show (I think it was the Gamechangers tour) still ranks as one of my favourite shows of all time. If you're looking for more heavy bands, I'm full of recommendations haha.
I feel all of your pain as well. last headliner norfolk got was house party tour in 2013. They've played Richmond twice since the release of CC, and we haven't had any kind of fest or special date for Bad Vibes yet. i'm praying that this fall tour hits the same venue that the house party tour did. it was my favorite ADTR show.
Same here. I've seen BMTH headline 4 times since I last saw ADTR headline a show, which is crazy since ADTR is actually from this country.
honestly, months of pre-planning since they'll probably have huge production and they'll need to book these "arenas" & venues months in advance. so I'd say, it's already in it's final stages of being 100% confirmed at this point, since it's pretty obvious we aren't getting much from them this spring, and will probably be announced in May/June and will run late september through late october, early november is my only guess at this point.. also why haven't they done a Self Help?
Since it's a hometown show I'm hoping they do a lot of stuff they haven't played in awhile and save the newer stuff for their headline tour whenever that ends up being, but I understand that's a long shot
I speculated it could be that in here or the tour predictions thread. Unless there's something more out there.
Honestly, I don't think it was the place for it. The place was completely packed and as a whole the crowd seemed to react best to their newer stuff. I mean they said "we're gonna play a song we haven't played in a long time" and the song was City of Ocala and everyone lost their shit...
