I'm bias towards older material but this set list was perfect to me
A Day to Remember Setlist at The Ritz, Ybor City
1. Fast Forward To 2012
2. Mr. Highway
6. Another Song For the Weekend
7. My Life For Hire/Holdin' It Down For The Underground
9. Right Back At It Again
10. Violence/Plot To Bomb The Panhandle
11. Best of Me
12. Sometimes You're The Hammer
13. All I Want
14. Out of Time
15. The Document Speaks For Itself/Same Book But Never The Same Page
16. 2nd Sucks
17. If It Means A Lot To You
18. You Should've Killed Me
I couldn't bring myself to include Downfall or Made of Wax because I've seen those songs enough times to last two lifetimes
Toursick is probably the best tour package ADTR has ever had. A Day To Remember, August Burns Red, Silverstein, Enter Shikari, and Go Radio/Veara. I wish they'd bring out that And Their Name Was Treason medley out again, that was dope.
A lot of dream sets with Reassemble, guess I should go revisit that one.
Man it's such a great track, it was the one that stood out to me the most on the first album listen through.
I think it lends itself for an opener with the chant like opening before kicking in.
100% Agreed! I'm happy I was a part of the NJ scene in the mid 2000s where these tours actually happened in a 250 person club: Tours: The Sleeping / A Day to Remember / Valeyra/Tours: Alesana / A Day to Remember / Dance Gavin Dance / Pierce The Veil
I was at both those School of Rock shows. I really miss that place!
Hey I was at both of these too!
It's weird remembering how small this band was in the beginning. I'm from Jersey too but South so I just went to the shows at Harmony Grange. Gigs there and at Hangar 84 were always dope.
Who were the headliners?
The Sleeping and Alesana for each tour respectively. ADTR never had a real headliner until I think 2009.
They did a 2 week headlining run with Crime in Stereo/Just Surrender in March of 08 and then an even shorter tour with For the Fallen Dreams right after Since U Been Gone came out and right before Homesick. I think their first tour was the Pulling Your Pud tour with Parkway and IFAF.
I also believe this is the greatest ADTR setlist to date. I doubt we'll ever see something like this again. A Day to Remember Setlist at Irving Plaza, New York
Jesus man. Were you there for that?
I just went through homesick because of you guys, and i'm listening to if it means alot to you, and as soon as it started playing I got goosebumps. it's always been that one song for me that gets me through shit.
I don't know if any of you are from Maine but in 2008 ADTR headlined a show at The Station in Portland with Four Year Strong, Vanna, Lions Lions, and Too Late The Hero. The setlist was:
Fast Forward to 2012
Speak of the Devil
The Danger in Starting a Fire
Show 'Em the Ropes
A Shot in the Dark
Since U Been Gone
Why Walk on Water When We've Got Boats
You Should Have Killed Me When You Had the Chance
The Plot to Bomb the Panhandle
Honestly one of my favorite shows
Unfortunately not. That sold out pretty quickly if I remember correctly. I saw some videos and the entire place just lost their minds.
ADTR should still be opening for The Sleeping tbh
Sure why not! Absolutely no one would leave right after ADTR's set!
You took that way too literally. I'm just lamenting because I think The Sleeping are way better than ADTR but life isn't fair so here we are
Yeah I was being sarcastic. 2 people at least picked up on that. I thought the exclamation points were a dead giveaway.
