A lot of weird, interesting stuff in that trailer, so I'm looking forward to this.

 

Too many scenes look like exactly like sequences played out in Shutter Island.

I generally really enjoy movies that fuck with your mind though.

I'm also not sold on Dane DeHaan being a capable star of a movie.

 

Huge Verbinski fan here, I'm psyched for it!

I do wonder how much material here is recycled from the BioShock movie he never got to make?

 

This was definitely something.
I'm still trying to figure out if I enjoyed it or just the fact that it commits to being completely bonkers.

I thought the trailers for this were awesome, but the reviews have me underwhelmed. I'll give it a watch when it hit digital.

 

I've read mixed reviews. Will probably go see it this weekend.

 

It's one of those things where I get it. I was one of those people. A big budget unique Hollywood movie....we want to support it...we want to love it...because we want studios to take more chances with stuff like this.

But he blew it.

Long movie, plot holes, poorly written, and a crazy ending that comes way way way too late.

 

The trailer looked so cool; it's unfortunate the movie doesn't deliver.

Yeah, this wasn't great haha. Dane was solid but that's about it.

 

I actually thoroughly enjoyed this.

Trying to watch this now. I’m halfway through and feeling pretty bored
