Musically, I love what Punk Rocky is doing.... but on the flip side I kinda hate everything about the vocals, how they are mixed, the effects on them, everything

 

Knowing Rocky this song is probably not a good indicator of the whole album (and I kinda hope it's not) but I do really enjoy it and the video is amazing

 

This sounds like so much stuff that has been made in Europe (especially Germany in like the 2010s) in the last 15 years. Could barely get into it when it was new let alone now. Sorry guys.

 

It kinda just sounds like Tame Impala….meh

Quite nice, good mix of experimentation and more straightforward stuff, lots of great production

 

STFU sounds like they tried to combine elements from breathe, fire starter and smack my bitch up by prodigy into one song.

Brent Faiyaz is human Ambien man. Incredibly dull, eyes glaze over every time hes on a track.

 

hmm, I would not call the first half of this album boring

 

I'm only through the first half haha. Have not looked up from the work that I'm doing once to check out a song title, which is typically my measurement scale

 

haha well then maybe you'll like the second half more than I did. feel like it becomes pretty disjointed by the end with some fun experiments

would still consider my first listen positive as this is more interesting than a lot of other contemporary rap albums

 

A very low bar that has been for at least 5 years, but I will check it out

 

I have found this to be very okay with some strong highlights

 

that’s basically what I felt too but my expectations were ok from the start
