  5. This is great. Reminds me of the HOMESHAKE record from a few months back in a lot of ways! Super dreamy

Definitely had mixed feelings about this on first listen, I think mostly stemming from the fact that three of the tracks on here are ambient interludes (which I didn’t know beforehand). I also don’t really care for the filter over his voice on a lot of these songs. Definitely dreamy, definitely atmospheric—in a different way than Believers was. I’ll adjust, but I think I was just expecting more after not hearing from him for so long.

WOW. I am very pleasantly surprised. I had checked back on A.A. Bondy countless times since 2011 but it did not look like he was even doing music anymore and eventually I stopped looking. Very happy that he is releasing something.

I honestly didn’t think this was very good on first listen. He’s a long time favorite so I’ll give it a couple more tries, but disappointed so far.

I haven't finished my first listen through the album yet, but this is VERY mellow and not very immediate or anything, but I am digging it.

It probably doesn't hurt that my stress level / blood pressure has been insanely high and I've been actively seeking out very mellow music to try to help me chill.

    * Edited to add that I actually enjoyed this a lot. I can't lie though, I am not crazy about instrumental interludes just in general, and if you don't count those this is only really 7 songs. Little bit of a bummer.
