80th Golden Globe Awards

The 80th Golden Globe Awards will honor the best in film and American television of 2022, as chosen by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA). It is scheduled to be held on January 10, 2023 from The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California, with it being aired live in the United States on NBC and streamed on Peacock. Jerrod Carmichael will host the ceremony.

powerhouse group of Leading actors in a drama but boy would i love to see Luna win, or Scott for that matter. Feel like Odenkirk or Costner has it locked up.

 

I don't really care to watch or follow the Globes closely anymore, but that's a pretty solid group of nominees. Drama/Comedy split is silly as usual though.

 

So are these the big movies this year? I watched half an hour of Everything Everywhere All at Once last night and I think the Banshees of Inisherin comes out tomorrow, but what a weak year.

 

Would have loved for andor to get a best drama nom just to get more people to watch it.

Hell yeah for RRR getting a nom. Great film.

I've seen everything but Avatar and babylon and from my perspective there's no bad movies in this 10.

2022 easily the best movie year of the 2020s thus far. Hope it improves from here on out

This Ryan Murphy tribute feels really weird. Feel like there are far more solid and consistent tv showrunners of the last 25 years they could honor for this. I know they are highlighting representation but Murphy's record is far more miss than hit imo
