Didn’t see a thread for this. The ceremony is tomorrow at 8pm ET/5pm PT

I’m not going to posting the whole list of nominees but you can find them here.

Golden Globes 2020: The Complete Nominations List

I have not yet seen a lot of the nominated films yet but I’m going to see Parasite tomorrow before it starts which I’m very excited to finally see.

Yearly reminder that the Globes are the most meaningless out of all the meaningless awards shows

I just like seeing celebrities get drunk and act like a The Globes are a joke as well

  4. If I can find a stream somewhere, I'll watch.

    So assuming that this weekend...

With the AMC pass I saw far more new movies in 2019 than I’ve ever seen before. As a result, I’m really excited to watch the Globes tonight.

I think that I can simultaneously enjoy tonight’s award show and keep in mind that the Globes are seen as the least important of the major awards shows.

    over/under for Gervais jokes about:
    Gender identity: 3
    How edgy he is: 5
His version of the Office: 2
    Scorsese's Marvel comments: 1.5
    Religion: 14

over/under for Gervais jokes that are actually funny: 1.5

It is painful to watch him now since The Office and Extras were so good.

    So assuming that this weekend...

On the red carpet the young boy from Jojo Rabbit just gave an answer about kicking Hitler in the balls when asked about his favorite part of making the movie, and I now love that kid and hope he wins tonight.

I grew up loving the Office, Extras, and An Idiot Abroad, as well as his podcast. He really regressed. Or maybe he needed Stephen Merchant.

Anyone know where I can watch this without cable? Sure there will be a stream somewhere and I’ll be drinking so I feel like it’ll be fun

I honestly don't think Ricky has ever told a joke without Stephen Merchant's help, like not just the does it offend you stuff but he just is so unfunny it's disturbing

I don't watch a lot of TV, but I watched pretty much everything nominated in film, aside from 1917 and Two Popes (both of which I'm planning on watching before the Oscars).

man even I have to admit, looking in this room and seeing this sea of white people... it's pretty glaring and sorta uncomfortable too. I know it's like this every year but jeez
