Surprised by only one nomination for First Man, and pleasantly shocked to see Crazy Rich Asians getting multiple noms

Lots of my favorite stuff this year got totally shafted, and some of these categories for certain films are going to give me a headache. Probably pulling for Sharp Objects the hardest out of everything, and Elsie Fisher for best actress would fill me with joy.

The GGs are pointless but I always watch.

    My rant... no Toni Collette?!?!!?

I like the Musical/Comedy film category this year, but God, A Star is Born is the only nominated Drama I've seen that I actually liked (still waiting for Beale Street to expand).

Only two episodes have been aired so far. The pilot was quite good, but I have listened to the podcast and know the story so not sure how it plays for those with no idea.

The Martian is the funniest comedy of the 2010s

  19. Nice to see love for The Alienist, though I think Sharp Objects deserves the win over it. Hope Rachel Broshnahan wins best performance for Ms. Maisel.

I had no idea Bodyguard was this highly regarded.
