A movie people found funny was nominated for best comedy. Not the greatest sin the world. Take it easy guy.
I'm glad Deadpool didn't win best comedy and best actor in a comedy because now I don't have to see a Deadpool blu-ray cover boasting "winner of 2 golden globes" with Reynolds holding the globes over his balls Also this was a year with Swiss Army Man and the Edge of Seventeen
Evan Rachel Wood was great in Westworld. She and Thandie really elevated that show. Both were award-worthy.
Good lord, those last two winners. I was pretty biased for Evan Rachel Wood but Winona Ryder and Keri Russell were equally deserving. I can't imagine a show about rich, British people being nothing we've never seen before.
The Crown is actually good, and Claire Foy is really good in it, but Wood and Russell, I mean come on. Like I said though, no surprise so many Brits are winning at the BAFTAs.
I have not seen it but I feel like this is a similar situation to Downton Abbey, a show I enjoyed but didn't understand why it consistently won awards.
