I hate how out-of-order these categories are. They announce best series winners before all of the actor categories.
Yeah this is the most disorganized show I've ever seen. They usually aren't done out of order like this, even at the Globes.
I feel like they've been like this for the past several years. At least with the Emmys, they start with Comedy, then Limited Series, then Drama, and the last three are Best Series in each genre.
Yeah I don't know, could be wrong. I just feel like I would've remembered thinking this about the show before and I don't. Like it feels really noticeable this year.
Maybe it's to keep people on their toes? I feel like if they did all of the big categories at the end, it might not result in consistent ratings across the entire night. Definitely agree that the big stuff should be save for last though.
Is it just me or did it sound like a threat when the announce said "Plus, more from Jimmy when we return."
Is it just me, or anyone find it weird that the weakest song in La La Land just won? Like, it's good, but there are SO many better choices for that slot (Another Day of Sun, Someone in the Crowd, Audition (The Fools Who Dream)
I love Moana. And that song. Leave it to Lin-Manuel Miranda to write the one of the best Disney songs of the last several years.
For an awards show like this, that's the song the studio submitted for consideration Edit: I could be wrong. Chances are they submitted several songs
