Flying to NYC next week for work and strongly considering ditching the company party to catch Anxious & Stateside at Bowery.
Hadn't ever heard of them until Anxious mentioned them during that Wonder Years TGG tour, but very into this song and excited for new music. They just played a skate shop/record store minutes from me not long ago and I missed it, might have to sneak away from the company event for a bit.
absolutely love Stateside. That Koyo / Anxious / One Step Closer / Stateside bill was incredible and I look forward to more from them. One day I just went through all the artists that New Morality Zine works with and Stateside was one of my absolute favs from the group. So cool to see them get signed, and I look forward to them growing.
I’ve heard the album and can confirm it’s 1. Awesome and 2. SUCH a good summer record. I’m so glad they’re releasing this in June
Think they're wrapping up their tour with Anxious and Ultra Q - that's the lineup in NYC if I ditch the work thing. I saw Anxious posted a tweet about Stateside needing a van to finish out the tour so hopefully they stay on.
Handful of new dates dropped supporting The Starting Line & Finch and they're wonderful: 10/24 Los Angeles, CA @ The Novo 10/25 Tempe, AZ @ Marquee 10/26 San Diego, CA @ Observatory North Park
I bought this shirt last week and realized it’s a pretty big XL (on a heavyweight Shaka shirt). Will ship it for what I paid for it ($25) so I can order a L instead. text beneath says “California soft core”.
love when these guys closed their boston set with a floorpunch cover dedicated to rhode island straightedge
Same for NY, it was their opener and a couple people popped for it. Not too many old heads there for them but a very fun set regardless. Can’t wait for the record to drop, the track they released has been stuck in my head for a few days now.
