Reimagined into a contemporary political setting, this series is based on a classic novel which centres on a ruthless British assassin (Eddie Redmayne), known only as the "Jackal", and the intelligence officer (Lashana Lynch) intent on capturing him.
Really great so far. Final two episodes of the season will air tomorrow 12/12. Probably the best original Peacock has done (even though it is technically a co-production with Sky in the UK). Nominated for Best Drama Series and Best Actor in a Drama series at the 82nd Golden Globes.
What's strange is that the show has been renewed for a 2nd season, which slightly defeats the purpose of the show
Finale was good. While I kinda think this COULD HAVE been just one season I more than welcome more of Eddie. I assume it'll be about him getting revenge and whatever kind of redemption arc someone like him can get, and finding his family.
