I wish Josh got a even bigger/more prominent singing part, but I'm sure they don't want to be known as a duel-singer band, so good to get what we got in the song

 

Obviously not a feature but he has a pretty strong presence in the new tracks’ chorus

per the credits on Apple Music, unless they update in the future, Jordan Fish is nowhere to be found re: writing or production. so i'm gonna go ahead and assume anything they could've worked on probably got scrapped.

 

Super excited for this. Also the album art reminds me of the Slowdive self-titled album art

feel like they're going to level up beyond belief on this record. i thought eternal blue was pretty good but these two songs left a VERY strong impression on me. world domination type beat.

 

Both are great singles. Very, very much looking forward to Tsunami Sea!

Man I love this band. I went with the smush variant because the special edition splatter was already gone by the time I saw the pre-orders. $70 after shipping for the liquid one I'm just not about. Maybe I should have got the glitter one because that one is prob my fav..........

BUT..... Perfect Soul might be the only song they have released that I'm not 100% on board with all of it yet. Two listens and its good, but the chorus doesn't excite me. I've got to crank the volume in my car tomorrow to really get the full effect.

 

Perfect Soul excites me BECAUSE I didn’t really get it on my first listen. I think it’s gonna need a few more listens to digest. Soft Spine has been my jam for the past week or so, so I’m incredibly pumped for this.
