Man this is addicting. It's been a while since I've gotten into a heavy release this much but this has such an effortlessly cool vibe to it it's hard to resist.
I'm feeling with this album a little like I did when I first heard Brother, Sister. Not that it's anything like that album, but it gives me that same excitement of discovering something so different but so effortless all at once.
Does anyone else laugh at that third "uh!" in "This Life Is Old, New, Borrowed, and Blue" or is it just me? It's one of a few parts on the record I find genuinely funny.

Pretty sure this is my AOTY so far. Cannot stop rinsing it, it's too fucking good and way more accessible than their last one too so people don't give me the dirty eye when I slap it on
Both '68 albums have absolutely dominated my listening this year. I have no doubt that TPV is my AOTY in the slightest
I mean legit I actually can't decide because I love all the songs on here. My favourite moment is probably I'VE GOT THE BLUES, BUT THE BLUES AIN'T GOT ME tho
i know this is probably the wrong thread to be asking in, but does anyone know why michael hasn't been playing drums on this tour? i've heard that he and the band parted ways but no official statements.
