'68 put on a hell of a show Thursday night. They only played 4 tracks (2 new, 2 old) but they jammed out to each track and lasted a half hour. I was hoping they would be playing before ETID so they could play longer. Everyone in the crowd was screaming for more when they finished. And after being such a big fan of Scogin's for so long (Norma Jean, The Chariot, A Rose By Any Other Name, and '68), I have to say he did not disappoint. Dude knows how to put on a show and absolutely captivate the audience. I never realized how fucking funny he is, too. The drummer was also just as impressive. "I do not know what they call you, but they call us '68."
This is so close that I can taste it, need this album in my life as soon as possible. Been rinsing them to bits recently in anticipation
Yeah, this is really good. After 1 listen I think I already like it more than the debut. My only gripe is that it's not really 72 and sunny outside music, but I'm going to enjoy this a lot on cool, rainy days and especially once fall rolls around.
Sick album, I remember when In Humor and Sadness came out of nowhere for me. Glad this follows up nicely.
It's hard to believe Josh can still do this style of music. Dude must shred his vocal cords on a daily basis. Maybe he drinks a lot of water. Anyway, this album slays. Lots of creativity from song to song.
