i was rooting for khruangbin (don't like them) bc of how stupid it'd be but this was the right choice
i'm glad the fires didn't get to me--it was a scary couple weeks of keeping track of evacuation notifications--but seeing people who did lose everything is heartbreaking. i appreciate that so much attention is being brought to it
Also having a huge majority of the Best New Artist nominees performing together in a row beforehand was a brilliant move. For once, it feels like the Grammys are nodding to the future instead of resting the same laurels that are eye-rolling as hell
I never watched the daily show. Has Trevor Noah ever been funny? I know it’s just the nature of award shows but he seems so awkward
